RESCUE
Current Project/
I found myself drawn to the creation of individual portraits of rescue system dogs that so quickly lose their individuality when we view them as statistics. Each portrait spotlights a unique and individual dog within the rescue system. The 250+ portraits I've completed are 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The project isn't focused on a single breed or geographic area. It doesn't dwell exclusively on sadness or misfortune. It doesn't exuberantly focus on only happiness and joy. More than anything, the project is designed to focus on hope. It is a meditation on the varied and diverse world of the canine. It's a world from which we all benefit, and a world where personalities, and stories are as varied as our own. Poster size prints available. Each print consists of 36 portraits.
